Birmingham | Senior Leadership Opportunity
Ready to take the next step in your career and move into a role where you can combine your technical expertise with team leadership?

This is an opportunity to join a specialist built-environment business in a senior position, taking responsibility for a technical team and playing a key role in the continued growth and development of the business.

Working across a varied portfolio of projects, you''ll use your experience in architectural technology, building surveying and digital modelling to support project delivery, maintain high technical standards and help develop the team''s capabilities.

The Role
As Team Leader, you''ll oversee the day-to-day running of the technical team, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, accurately and to the required standard. You''ll be responsible for coordinating workloads, supporting team members and reviewing technical outputs, while helping to improve processes and working practices across the function.

You''ll work across measured building surveys, digital modelling and design solutions, using your knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and BIM to provide technical guidance and resolve challenges as they arise. You''ll also help ensure survey data is translated into accurate drawings and models, with an understanding of point cloud data and the technologies used to capture and process building information.

Alongside the technical side of the role, you''ll be responsible for supporting and developing the team, helping individuals build their skills and ensuring projects remain on track. You''ll work closely with colleagues and other stakeholders to manage competing priorities, maintain quality and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on technically but is ready to take on more responsibility, influence how work is delivered and play a bigger part in the future direction of the team.

What You''ll Bring
You''ll have extensive experience in CAD, architectural technology, building surveying or a similar technical discipline, with strong AutoCAD skills and a good understanding of Revit and BIM. Experience working with measured building surveys, producing technical drawings and interpreting survey data will be important, alongside the ability to review work and ensure high standards are maintained.

You''ll also have the confidence to guide others, manage workloads and help a team deliver against project deadlines. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as is a proactive approach to problem-solving and improving working practices.

Why Consider It?
This is a chance to step into a senior leadership role within a specialist business, where you can build on your technical experience while developing your management skills. You''ll have the opportunity to shape the team, influence project delivery and contribute to the continued development of the technical function.

If you''re an experienced technical professional looking for that next step, with the opportunity to take ownership, support others and make a real impact, this could be the role for you.
