The VacancyATP, an RSK Group company, are recruiting for a Architectural Technician to join the team based in Loughton, working hours are 9.00a.m - 5.30 p.m. This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate must have experience in the residential sector with proven knowledge of working details of various construction methods. The successful candidate would be working as part of a team but specialising in the working detail packages.
Responsibilities
To represent ATP at the highest level
Provide direction and advice on technical / product knowledge and specifically detailing including coordination and workshops with manufacturers.
To act as part of the Lead Consultant team, which might include managing consultants employed by our client ensuing delivery of their work is on programme and fully coordinated with other consultant designs - reporting regularly to your project lead.
Deliver a quality service for all projects that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Provide and maintain high standards of design, construction detail, and support colleagues in maintaining standards and ensuring compliance.
Provide drawings and specifications, for coordination, with technical accuracy and compliance with appropriate standards.
Provide architectural detail design advice to clients.
Contribute to the achievement of ATP objectives.
Demonstrate personal commitment to ATP.
Prepare technical documentation and oversee production of drawings
Evidence of excellent detailing and technical understanding
Good interpersonal skills
Confident working directly with clients and the ability to present to manage consultants
Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project
Understanding of Construction Technologies
Knowledge of the building regulations, NHBC standards, and all other necessary technical standards needed to fulfil the role
Attention to Detail
Use at an advanced level of AutoCAD and Revit in preparing architectural drawings
Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
Ability to Work Well Under Pressure
