An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician or Architect to join a growing and collaborative architectural practice based in Taunton.
Working across a diverse portfolio of education, healthcare and community focused projects, you''ll become part of a supportive studio that prides itself on delivering thoughtful, technically robust and sustainable design solutions that make a genuine difference.

Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and technical delivery of projects from concept through to completion
- Produce planning, Building Regulations and technical drawing packages
- Work closely with senior team members to coordinate projects across all RIBA stages
- Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors throughout project delivery
- Attend project and site meetings where required
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards
- Assist with design reports, presentations and project documentation
- Contribute to a collaborative studio environment and support the continued growth of the practice
Requirements
- Qualified Architect (ARB/RIBA) or Architectural Technician/Technologist
- Experience working within a UK architectural practice
- Good understanding of UK Planning, Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Experience using ArchiCAD would be advantageous, although training can be provided
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality architecture with excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience within the education or healthcare sectors would be beneficial, although not essential
