Conrad Consulting are excited to be partnering with an award-winning AJ100 practice in Surrey as they look to welcome a Revit-focused Architectural Technician into their Guildford practice.

The Practice

This is one of Surrey’s most respected multidisciplinary studios,  a practice with over 100 years of architectural heritage, a national presence across London, Manchester and Edinburgh, and an impressive international footprint.

Their portfolio spans Retail, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Residential, Student Living and more, with a reputation built on quality, innovation and long-standing client relationships.

With continued growth across the UK and a surge of new Retail projects, they are now looking to strengthen their technical team.

The Role – Architectural Technician (Retail)

This position is ideal for an Architectural Technician with 3–5 years’ experience, particularly those who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy the technical demands of the Retail sector.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team where you’ll quickly take on more responsibility including job-running opportunities, client coordination and the potential to lead small project teams as you progress.

This is a role with genuine long-term development, offering a clear pathway to grow within a major UK practice.

What You’ll Bring:

• 3–5 years’ experience as an Architectural Technician

• Degree in Architectural Technology or HNC/HND equivalent

• Retail and commercial sector experience

• Strong technical ability and understanding of UK regulations

• Confident producing detailed technical drawings and packages

• Revit proficiency (AutoCAD experience also beneficial)

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, organised approach
