An established architectural practice with a diverse portfolio across commercial, education, defence, and healthcare sectors is seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join its friendly team in Oxford. This role offers the opportunity to support the technical design and delivery of large-scale projects across multiple RIBA stages, contributing to a wide range of schemes with a strong focus on technical detailing, compliance, and complex project requirements. It presents an excellent opportunity for a technician with strong construction knowledge and the ability to support projects from design development through to completion.

Responsibilities
- Support the technical delivery of projects across multiple RIBA stages
- Produce detailed technical drawings, construction packages, and specifications
- Assist in developing coordinated design solutions that meet technical and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to coordinate project information
- Contribute to the preparation of 3D models and drawing packages using Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
- Liaise with clients and project stakeholders to support efficient project delivery
- Assist with site visits, responding to technical queries during construction phases
- Work on projects across commercial, education, defence, and healthcare sectors, including technically complex environments
Skills and Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
- Experience within a UK-based architectural practice
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
- Experience supporting projects across various RIBA stages
- Previous sector experience in commercial, education, defence, or healthcare would be advantageous
- Willingness to obtain security clearance where required for certain projects
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
- Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
