Location: Commutable to Northampton

Remuneration: £40,000

Responsibilities

CAD Technician position dealing with a high quality manufactured range of architectural stonework such as facades, cladding, wall dressings, window dressings, balustrades, landscaping and paving

Produce detailed approval drawings for client sign-off, based on project quotations

Liaise with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure technical requirements are met

Generate precise manufacturing drawings for in-house mould shop following approvals

Maintain and tidy CAD drawing database and standard product library

Offer support to the wider Building and Construction team

Take initiative to streamline systems and contribute to process improvements

Work on projects varying in size from £10k to £250k

Qualifications / Ideal applicant

Must have experience using CAD software in a construction, architectural or manufacturing environment

Ideally will have previous experience with cast stone, stonework, or similar building materials

Competent with interpreting architectural drawings and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Proactive and capable of working independently as well as part of a team

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
