Architectural Technician

We are seeking an Architectural Technician to join a dedicated and professional team engaged in planning, design, drawing and related work. The role will entail working closely with Architects and Technicians developing your own skills further.

The salary is between £26,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience with great long-term career opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving team with a wonderful culture and busy office where no two projects are the same! This position is a full-time, permanent role.

The main duties include;

· Assisting in the preparation of (and understanding of) structural and detail drawings using Revit/ AutoCAD.
· The coordination of contractor queries.
· Taking ownership of a project after the planning stage has been completed including tender and bid preparation
· Follow a project through to completion , liaising with the wider team to ensure that it's delivered on time and on budget
Other duties as described on the JD to be provided

You will have;

· Revit or AutoCAD/ArchiCAD skills
· Understanding of building practices and construction methods
· · Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
· A desire to work as part of a friendly and competent team
· Energy and motivation to succeed
· Good organisation skills
· Experience of all 4 RIBA stages is preferred
