Konker is recruiting for an Architectural Technician to join a growing and busy architectural practice based near Congleton.

With a healthy pipeline of work and several new retained projects, this practice is looking to grow its team to keep up with rising demand.

Working predominantly on residential schemes, they are seeking someone with a strong technical skillset who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately to live projects.

This is a technically focused position that will see you producing detailed construction drawings for residential projects, including home extensions, loft conversions, and one-off houses.

You’ll also support the team on larger developments and work on occasional commercial or institutional projects.

You’ll be working closely with senior staff who are also managing their in-house property development projects, so this is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the developer side of architecture.

The Position:- Architectural Technician

• Produce accurate, detailed construction drawings for a range of residential projects
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients when needed
• Use AutoCAD daily for technical drawing work
• Support senior team members on various projects and take ownership of smaller jobs
• Optional involvement in 3D visuals and rendering (training provided if needed)

Salary is between £28,000-£35,000, depending on previous experience. They would also consider a part-time arrangement - 4 days a week work.
