Architect - Residential

We are currently partnering with a well-established architectural practice seeking an Architect to join their team in Manchester. You will act as, or support, the Design Team Leader in preparing, managing, and coordinating project activities across RIBA Stages 1 7, ensuring delivery aligns with the project brief, meets agreed programmes, and maintains company standards. Responsibilities: Lead the design and specification of building projects, ensuring compliance with current guidelines, standards, and regulations. Manage projects through planning applications, Building Regulations, and listed building consent where required. Independently lead multidisciplinary design teams as Project Architect on smaller projects, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality expectations. Support senior colleagues in leading small to medium-sized projects. Assist in the delivery of complex and high-risk projects, ensuring successful outcomes in line with client and company expectations. Manage and coordinate external consultants, maintaining performance standards and design quality. Engage proactively with clients, providing a high level of service within commercial constraints. Lead discussions relating to architectural and technical matters. Assist with fee forecasting, invoicing, and project profitability monitoring.
