Architect Location: Birmingham

Salary: -37-45,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Architect to join a well-established multidisciplinary practice in Birmingham. Joining a friendly and close-knit team, you''ll be involved in a varied project portfolio covering education, commercial, residential, transport, energy and defence sectors. This role offers genuine scope to develop your design and delivery skills while taking a hands-on role in projects from concept through to completion on site.

The Role

• Lead and support the design of projects across RIBA Stages 1-6.
• Produce high-quality design proposals, drawings and reports.
• Collaborate closely with Architectural Technologists, Engineers, consultants and clients.
• Ensure all design work complies with relevant UK Building Regulations and planning requirements.
• Take an active role in BIM working practices and Revit-based design development.
• Attend design team meetings, client meetings and site visits as required.
• Support the preparation of planning and building regulations submissions.
• Contribute to the technical detailing and specification of materials.
• Help deliver projects to agreed programmes and budgets.
• Mentor and support junior members of the design team.

About You

• ARB registered Architect, or nearing completion of Part 3.
• Proven experience delivering UK-based architectural projects.
• Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations, design principles and construction methods.
• Proficient in Revit and comfortable operating within BIM Level 2 workflows.
• Familiarity with Navisworks and NBS is advantageous.
• Able to coordinate effectively with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time-management abilities.
• Creative, detail-focused and able to manage competing project deadlines.
