Job OverviewAn opportunity for an Architect to join an established practice in Birmingham, delivering architectural design and project work across multiple RIBA stages. The role is suited to an ARB-registered professional with experience across education and DfE projects, combining design development, technical delivery, coordination and construction-stage responsibilities within a multi-disciplinary environment.Role and ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural solutions responding to project briefsProduce surveys, reports, drawings and presentation informationCoordinate technical designs with consultants and manufacturersPrepare planning, building control and construction informationAttend meetings, inspections and undertake contract administrationYou will maintain project quality assurance records and coordinate information against relevant technical standards and statutory requirements. Responsibilities also include Building Regulations, Building Safety Act 2022 and CDM Regulations 2015 compliance.Skills and Experience RequiredPart 3 qualified and ARB registeredStrong experience managing all RIBA stagesPrevious education and DfE project experienceWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and RevitUnderstanding of CDM Regulations and Building RegulationsYou should be able to develop coherent architectural designs supported by appropriate construction technologies and techniques.
