WelderSalary: Circa 40,000 - 41,000, rising to 46,000 - 48,000 after 3 monthsWorking Hours: 3 Shift Pattern (Days/Backs/Nights), moving to a 4 on, 4 off Continental Shift Pattern after training.Commutable from: Edinburgh, Livingston, Dunfermline and surrounding areas.First Achieve''s Engineering Division are recruiting for an experienced Welder to join a global manufacturing leader.This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a world-class engineering business offering long-term stability, genuine career progression and excellent earning potential.Following an initial three-month training period on a rotating days/backs/nights shift pattern, you''ll move onto a 4 on, 4 off continental shift pattern, increasing your salary to circa 46,000 - 48,000 per annum.The RoleWorking within a busy manufacturing environment, you''ll be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to exact engineering standards using a range of welding processes.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out MIG, TIG and ARC welding on a variety of metal components and fabrications.Assemble and weld components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and customer standards.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.Follow all health, safety and quality procedures.
