Madisons are recruiting for a Groundsman/ Arborist to get started on a permanent basis for a client of ours based local to Reigate, Surrey.
Candidates must have a Full UK Drivers License to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Accompany skilled arborists performing tree maintenance
- Remove branches from the designated drop zone too the van.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in tree care, such as chainsaws, pole saws, and wood chippers preferred.
- Conduct ground maintenance activities including raking, mulching, and weed control.
- Assist in the planting and transplanting of trees and shrubs
- General garden maintenance
Qualifications:
- Previous horticultural experience
- Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and landscape maintenance preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
