If so, we want you to be our Tree Officer!Role PurposeAs our Tree Officer, you''ll play a vital role in implementing our organization''s Tree Strategy. You''ll conduct tree inspections, manage maintenance programs, and collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure the well-being of our trees across the Midlands South and East Regions.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Tree Inspections: Undertake cyclical surveys and inspections of all trees, assessing their condition and making informed decisions on necessary maintenance.Technical Reporting: Advise on all aspects of arboriculture by writing detailed technical reports for various stakeholders.Contractor Oversight: Monitor and review contractor performance to ensure compliance with specifications and best practices.Community Engagement: Promote tree planting and biodiversity initiatives, working with communities to foster ownership and support environmental goals.Data Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all trees using surveying software and manage work from initiation to completion.Customer Interaction: Address customer inquiries promptly and maintain clear communication to ensure satisfaction.What You BringTo thrive in this role, you ..... full job details .....
