We are part of the airport''s emergency support structure, providing specialist ground resources during winter weather events to keep operations moving when conditions get difficult.We are currently looking for Apron Tractor Drivers to join our pool ahead of the 2026/27 winter season. This is a call-out contract, you''ll be activated when snow or ice is forecast, working alongside a tight-knit and experienced team in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.If you hold a Class 1 / C+E licence, we want to hear from you too. Our Prime Mover (Runway clearance) roles require Class 1 entitlement, and we are building our pipeline for upskilling next season.What You''ll Be Doing Operating tractors and support equipment to clear and treat aircraft stands on the apron Working as part of the wider airside emergency response team to maintain airport operations Following airside safety procedures and radio communications protocols at all times Responding quickly when called out notice periods can be short when snow is forecast Working flexibly across days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays throughout the seasonWhat We''re OfferingPay rates from £20 per hour, rising with unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidaysPremium rates available for self-employed Ltd Company ..... full job details .....
