Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to work with one of our clients in Harrow. The successful candidate will play a key role in carrying out Mental Health Act (MHA) assessments and ensuring individuals receive appropriate, timely, and person-centred care. This is a flexible, call-based role offering competitive rates of 80 per call or 110 per assessment. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking Mental Health Act assessments in line with current legislation Coordinating with doctors, social workers, and other professionals during assessments Making informed decisions regarding detention, admission, or alternative support pathways Ensuring the least restrictive options are always considered Providing clear, accurate, and timely documentation of all assessments and outcomes Liaising with service users, families, and carers in a sensitive and professional manner Ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, policies, and best practice guidelines Requirements: Qualified and warranted Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Active professional registration (e.g., Social Work England, NMC, HCPC) Proven experience undertaking Mental Health Act ..... full job details .....
