We are seeking an experienced and Approved Electrician to join our clients electrical team doing trunking and containment and 1st fix The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, routing, and maintenance of containment systems such as cable trays, trunking, conduit, and basket work, ensuring compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and site-specific health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Install trunking and containment systems (e.g. steel/PVC trunking, cable tray, ladder rack, conduit, basket). Interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, and building plans to execute installations correctly. Ensure containment installations are square, level, and plumb, maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Pull and terminate cables within the installed containment as per specification. Support full electrical installation, commissioning, and testing when required. Carry out fault-finding and corrective maintenance on existing containment systems. Adhere to all site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS). Supervise apprentices and/or electrical mates as required. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each task. Skills and Qualifications: Gold ECS/JIB Approved Electrician Card (essential).
