Apprentice/Assistant/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

A respected regional building contractor with a rich pedigree of delivering hi-tech new build projects across central and southern England have identified a need for either an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor.

Their portfolio includes work within commercial builds, car showrooms, retail, pharmaceutical and care homes, projects generally range in value from £1million to £5million.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Preparing Tender and Contract documents
- Preparing Bills of Quantities
- Risk Management and Cost Control
- Sub Contractor Work Allocation
- Preparing Accurate Progress Reports
- Completed Work Valuations and Payments

Key Experience and Requirements:

- Ideally 3+ Years Quantity Surveying experience
- You will have experience of previously working within the same or similar role.
- Degree qualified (or moving towards professional membership) is preferable but not essential.
- Traditional new build and Design & Build exposure would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication/ team work capability.
- Computer literacy will also be essential.
- The role will be reporting to the commercial director.
