Duties of the Apprentice Technician:

• Assist with scheduled servicing and carry out basic servicing tasks as directed
• Support fault diagnosis under supervision and follow diagnostic procedures correctly
• Maintain high standards of vehicle safety and quality control during allocated work
• Complete accurate documentation for work undertaken, including job cards and checklists
• Work efficiently within the team to support workshop targets
• Keep developing technical knowledge relating to current vehicle systems

Requirements of the Apprentice Technician:

• The Apprentice Technician should be in their second or third year at college, or newly qualified following college
• Full driving licence is essential
• Relevant qualification, ideally NVQ 2 (NVQ 1 will be considered)
• Strong technical interest and a methodical approach to tasks
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a workshop environment
• Good communication skills and a team player attitude
