Apprentice Production Technician

We are supporting an established engineering company based in Cambridgeshire who are looking to take on an Apprentice Production Technician to their team.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Assembly of equipment 
• Processing orders
• Attending college 3 days of week in first year
• Preparation of equipment for shipping
• Overseeing stock: unpacking and processing parts, assuring quality, labelling
• Control of materials, such as purchase order progressing, raising purchase orders
• Attending to returned equipment from customers: repairs, testing, recalibration
• Keeping working area clean and tidy

The successful candidate must have:

• Proactive nature
• Practical skills and manual dexterity
• Confidence in communication
• Good, general level of IT skills
• Access to transport 

Desirable:

• Previous manual projects, such as repairs, decorating, construction
• Own car
