As a Business Support Officer in these teams, you will have a strong administrative background and excellent working knowledge of MS Office.Crucial qualities include precision and adaptability, along with exceptional communication skills. Your ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies is essential, as it enables you to engage with professionals and families while working alongside the children''s services teams. This collaborative aspect of the role may present challenges at times, but it''s an essential part of making a meaningful impact.Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of business support and financial functions. These include updating and maintaining spreadsheets, minute taking, answering telephones, using the liquid logic LCS database, typing, scanning and filing.About us

Please follow the link for the role descriptionSpecific duties and responsibilities include:Provision of a full range of administrative duties; making and answering telephone, postdistribution, filing, scanning, photocopying, routine finance, ensuring administrativeprocedures are followed and standards maintained.To make and answer telephone calls, deal directly and respond to difficult queries frommembers of the public, take accurate notes and pass information onto the relevant officer in atimely manner.To ensure all contacts/referrals are recorded accurately, using IT and manual systems. Toprogress, chase and track information to ensure all systems are maintained and updated.Undertake routine and regular checks on quality and accuracy of data being held, producestandard reports.Person Specification

Experience

GCSE A*-C / NVQ level 2 in administration or equivalent experience and skillsGood listening, oral and literacy skillsAbility to prioritise, organise own time and work to deadlinesAbility to demonstrate a willingness to attend appropriate training and developmentAbility to maintain confidentialityHave good interpersonal skillsEvidence of being part of a teamAble to produce a good standard of written EnglishFully fluent in EnglishNVQ Level 3 in Administration, or Customer Care.Able to demonstrate an understanding of the work of public services and the specific service thisrole sits inExperience of operating financial processes, e.g., invoices and budget spreadsheets.Qualifications
