The Members will represent 12 mandated sectors (as below). The Just Transition Commission has been established in law to oversee implementation of Northern Ireland departments'' statutory obligations towards achieving a just transition to a low-emissions economy and to help ensure emissions reductions are achieved in an inclusive, fair and sustainable way. The JTC will also provide advice to departments on how to help ensure that specified proposals, policies, strategies and plans comply with the just transition principle.
