The Role As the Appointed Person, you will be responsible for the safe planning, coordination, and execution of lifting operations across site activities. Working closely with site management, crane operators, supervisors, and subcontractors, you will ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with current legislation and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and authorise lift plans for routine and complex lifting operations. Produce and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Ensure compliance with LOLER, BS 7121, and all relevant health and safety regulations. Select suitable cranes, lifting equipment, and lifting accessories for planned operations.
