Location: Torquay | Salary: £300 - £400/day | Type: Contract | My client are a national tunnelling & civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Appointed Person to help manage lifting operations on a large tunnelling and civils package that will last up to 6 months. Appointed Person Responsibilities: Producing detailed, written risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for every lift. Choosing the suitable crane and lifting accessories based on the load and site constraints Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Maintaining comprehensive records, including lift plans and equipment inspection certificates. Appointed Person Requirements: CPCS (Blue - Client won't accept red) NPORS Appointed Person SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial, not essential. TWS or TWC beneficial, not essential. IT literate.
