Appointed Person

My client are a national tunnelling & civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Appointed Person to help manage lifting operations on a large tunnelling and civils package that will last up to 6 months. 

Appointed Person Responsibilities: 

•  Producing detailed, written risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for every lift.
• Choosing the suitable crane and lifting accessories based on the load and site constraints
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. 
• Maintaining comprehensive records, including lift plans and equipment inspection certificates.

Appointed Person Requirements: 

• CPCS (Blue - Client won't accept red) 
• NPORS Appointed Person 
• SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial, not essential. 
• TWS or TWC beneficial, not essential. 
• IT literate. 
• Full UK driving licence.
