Key Responsibilities Planning & Coordination Prepare and review lifting plans. Ensure lifting operations comply with approved methods and risk assessments. Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, supervisors, and other personnel. Inspection & Certification Verify lifting equipment is inspected and certified. Ensure certifications remain valid before work begins. Supervision & Execution Oversee lifting operations on site. Ensure personnel are trained and competent. Monitor operations from start to finish. Ensure adherence to lifting plans and procedures. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with regulations including: LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) Maintain records of: Lifting operations Risk assessments Method statements Equipment inspections Lifting plans Report and address safety conc...
