To support this, we are looking for an IT Application Specialist to develop and maintain our strategic systems based on Salesforce and Veeva platforms.Join us in exciting times, with offices in E1 (Whitechapel/Aldgate East).Main Responsibilities and DutiesThe key duties of the role include:Designing end-to-end solutions on the Salesforce platform and other CRM technologies.Developing and implementing custom solutions in Salesforce, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and Apex code.Collaborating with stakeholders to define solutions.Analyzing data to support assessments and recommendations.Identifying Salesforce solutions and ecosystem products to meet requirements.Creating solution architecture documents and artifacts according to standards.Integrating Salesforce with other systems for seamless data flow.Configuring and maintaining Salesforce settings, security, permissions, and automation tools.Using Salesforce Lightning to create user-friendly applications and interfaces.Addressing technical issues and troubleshooting in Salesforce environment.Documenting configurations, customizations, and code changes.Improving development processes and methodologies.Staying current with Salesforce best practices and emerging technologies.Explain complex technical matters to non-technical audiences.Skills and ExperiencesSkills and experience required:Implementing Salesforce industry best practices.Managing Salesforce as a system owner, including validation, documentation, and user training.Maintaining and administering existing Salesforce applications.Engaging with IT and vendors on-site and off-site as needed.Being the key contact for Salesforce project issues.Developing an in-depth understanding of Salesforce products (Sales, Service, Experience, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pardot).Acting as in-house SME for Salesforce Lightning, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Community Cloud, Process Builder, and Flow.Collaborating across departments to meet business and project goals.Providing IT helpdesk support for related tickets.Driving efficiencies through software and systems.Providing on-site and off-site, in-hours and out-of-hours support as needed.Supporting IT projects alongside the IT Project Manager.This is a non-exhaustive ..... full job details .....
