Applications Engineer - Coventry - up to £40,000 per annumA £40,000 office-based role for an engineer who enjoys getting into the detail of how a hydraulic system really works. Customers will come to you with a problem, and you ll be the expert who works out exactly which solution they need. It s a specialist role in a settled, focused environment, where your technical knowledge is properly valued.As an Applications Engineer, you will benefit from: An annual performance bonus of up to 5%25 days holiday plus bank holidaysAn early finish on Fridays, with the option to start at 7am and finish at 3pmAn office-based role in Coventry, with no constant travelA close-knit, open plan site of around 15 peopleThe chance to build deep specialist knowledge of hydraulic valve and manifold technology As an Applications Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Talking customers through their hydraulic system requirements and recommending the right products for each applicationDesigning hydraulic manifold solutions, producing and reviewing schematics and technical documentationDeveloping and validating solutions, including supporting prototypes, testing and the test labInvestigating and resolving technical and application issues using root cause analysisSupporting customer projects from concept to production, working with sales, engineering, manufacturing and supply chainProviding technical guidance and training to customers and colleagues, including occasional on-site commissioning As ..... full job details .....
