Location: Coventry Commutable from: Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Solihull, Birmingham Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 per annum Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm Overseas Travel RequiredAbout the CompanyA well-established specialist machine tool manufacturer is currently looking to recruit an experienced Machine Tool Applications Engineer to join their engineering team.This is an excellent opportunity to work within an advanced engineering environment supporting high-precision CNC grinding and machining applications across global customer sites.The RoleAs a Machine Tool Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for machine programming, setup, testing, installation, and customer support across a range of CNC grinding and machining applications.Understanding and writing CNC programs, mainly Siemens 840 controlsGrinding and machining components to engineering drawingsProgramming and setting machines for grinding customer sample partsDeveloping processes to optimise machine cyclesInstalling NC standard machine cycles and operational dataCarrying out full functional testing of machines to internal proceduresPreparing machines and associated equipment for PDI and customer installationCarrying out machine installations, testing, and customer training globallyProviding technical sales support including tooling and time studiesSupporting customers with aftersales technical supportAssisting with product improvements and development ..... full job details .....
