Applications Engineer

We are seeking an Applications Engineer for a leading marine energy company based on Merseyside but operating globally to its maritime clients. The company provides battery and hybrid energy solutions that are used across the maritime industry. They offer products worldwide supported by remote and on-site monitoring to ensure a first-class customer service. Applications Engineer - The Role The role manages multiple concurrent customer projects and serves as the primary technical interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring customer requirements are translated into practical, reliable, and standardized system solutions. In addition to engineering responsibilities, the Applications Engineer plays a key role in project commissioning, working closely with the Lead Commissioning Engineer to provide on-site technical leadership during installation, commissioning, testing, and customer acceptance. What you will do This role requires frequent international travel to customer sites, shipyards, and project locations worldwide. Travel is expected to account for approximately 100 days per year, supporting activities including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), installation, commissioning, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), sea trials, customer acceptance, and technical support.
