Applications Engineer

Elevations Technical, Design and Projects team are working with a highly established engineering business to recruit a Applications Engineer into their growing global technical and sales function. This is a technically focused role for an experienced engineer who enjoys understanding customer problems, developing practical solutions and acting as the technical link between customers, sales and engineering. You''ll work across a wide range of industrial applications, supporting customers and distributors from the initial technical enquiry through to solution development, validation and delivery. The majority of solutions will involve configuring or adapting established products, with the opportunity to work alongside engineering teams where more bespoke requirements arise. Applications Engineer Role Outline You''ll take ownership of multiple customer projects and technical enquiries, understanding application requirements and determining the most appropriate solution. Your responsibilities will include: Managing technical projects from initial customer enquiry through specification, solution configuration, validation and handover. Acting as the key technical contact for customers, distributors and internal sales teams. Understanding customer applications and translating technical requirements into practical solutions.
