Job Purpose:The Applications Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting new products and established processes throughout the full product lifecycle. From RFQ and DFM through to production prove-out and cost/rework reduction, this role requires flexibility and a commitment to delivering engineering objectives while ensuring operations are fully supported. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan, lead, and execute multiple programmes while monitoring deliverables and reporting to management. Collaborate with internal functions such as Programme Management, Quality, and Production, and interface with customers as needed. Manufacturing Process Ownership: Ensure jobs run effectively according to production plans and that work instructions are fit for purpose. Proactively identify and investigate opportunities for improvement. Daily Operations Representation: Actively participate in daily operations meetings, providing valuable input and resolutions to open actions.
