Join a growing team in Ilminster as an Applications Engineer, where you''ll play a vital role in providing expert technical consultation and helping customers find the right solutions for their needs.About the Role:As an Applications Engineer, you will be the primary technical point of contact for customers, working closely with the Sales and Business Development teams. Your technical expertise will support pre-sales efforts, help evaluate RFQs, and guide clients toward effective manufacturing solutions.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical and pre-sales support for customers in the manufacturing industry.Act as a trusted technical consultant, understanding client requirements and offering tailored solutions.Collaborate with Product Management to assess pricing and margin models on customer RFQs.Travel to customer sites as needed to offer on-site support and advice (approx. 25% travel).Requirements:Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or a related field.Minimum 3 years'' experience in a technical support or sales role within manufacturing.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools.What''s in It for You?Competitive salary ..... full job details .....
