Our client is seeking a Application Security Architect to join their team. Responsibilities Define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and performance goals. Document the implementation of cloud security controls. Support the transition to cloud security-managed operations. Lead the design and continuous improvement of cloud security strategies in line with evolving business needs and technological advancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into cloud infrastructure and application development. Analyse emerging security threats and recommend proactive measures to safeguard cloud environments. Evaluate and support the adoption of new cloud security tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency and risk management. Provide solutions to complex security challenges affecting multiple teams. Take responsibility for team decisions and contribute to key decisions across the programme. Support and mentor team members by sharing expertise and promoting a culture of security awareness and innovation. Manage and collaborate with the team to ensure effective delivery.
