Application Operations Engineer Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, which is seeking a Application Operations Engineer for an initial 12-month assignment, with the option to extend. Location: Hybrid working | Exeter - 1 day per. weekThe ideal candidate should hold an active security clearance and have a strong background in Application Support, demonstrating the following skills and experience:Experience in supporting and configuring products on the Vortex platform.Familiarity with programming languages such as Handlebars.js and Mustache.js (for product template logic) as well as Typst (for product output layouts).A solid understanding of common services, applications, and protocols.Experience in Configuration Management, including maintaining secure configurations and accurate information, as well as managing service availability and capacity.Understanding of Change Management processes, including implementing change requests and driving continual service improvement.Strong knowledge in Incident Management, including the identification and logging of incidents.
