Apigee Consultants: Apigee, GCP, API, Google Cloud Our prestigious client is seeking experienced Apigee-X professionals, from the Engineer to Architect level to configure and test proxies, policies, target connectivity, security controls and environment settings across the four workstreams. The candidate should be confident with API authentication and token handling, troubleshooting end-to-end requests, CI/CD and repeatable deployment practices. Start Date: ASAPDuration: 165 daysPaye: £300 - £500 p/d (PLEASE NOTE: Employer NI is paid for by the client)Total Paye: £349 - £585 p/d (includes rolled up holiday)IR35 Status: InsideLocation: Hybrid/London Responsibilities: Design, build and operate secure, resilient and scalable API capabilities on Apigee X and Google Cloud. Develop and maintain API proxies, shared flows, policies, target Servers, KVMs, API products, developer applications and environment configurations. Design and implement API security patterns using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, mTLS, certificates, service accounts and appropriate secrets-management controls. Build reusable API onboarding and deployment patterns that improve developer self-service and reduce manual intervention. Automate Apigee X configuration and deployments using Terraform, GitHub, Harness, Backstage and supported Apigee APIs and tooling.
