API Backend Engineer (MCP)

The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an API Backend Engineer (MCP) for a 6 months contract based in Edinburgh or London (Hybrid).Purpose of the Role:As API Backend Engineer (MCP) you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable APIs and Back End services in cloud-native environments. The role centres on API development using modern API gateways on AWS or GCP, applying API standards, DevSecOps, and industry best practices, and delivering solutions within SCRUM agile ways of working.
