Accounts Payable Assistant 4 days in office initial 3-month contract with potential to go permanentAltum Consulting is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a Central London based international organisation. We are considering immediately available candidates to start. Your Key Responsibilities:Receive, review, and verify invoices and payment requestsEnsure proper approvals are obtained before processing paymentsEnter and maintain accurate records in the accounting systemPrepare and process electronic transfers and paymentsReconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statementsAssist in month-end closing processesRespond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholdersEnsure compliance with tax and regulatory requirementsSupport audits by providing documentation and reports as neededThe ideal candidate should have:Minimum 6-12 month''s hands-on experience with accounts payable, journal postings, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments or general month-end support.Excellent communication skillsStrong attention to detailIf this role is of interest, please reach out to Anya Keinzley on the attached details. ..... full job details .....
