About the Role
The Anti-Social Behaviour and Enforcement Officer role in Exeter involves managing complex neighbourhood cases, including harassment and hate crime, for a busy housing team. Are you passionate about supporting communities and resolving complex neighbourhood issues? We're looking for an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour and Enforcement Officer to join a busy Neighbourhoods team on a temporary basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in creating safer, stronger communities by managing anti-social behaviour cases, supporting residents, and working closely with partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Manage anti-social behaviour, harassment, hate crime and related enforcement cases
✔️ Act as the first point of contact for customers experiencing neighbourhood issues
✔️ Build effective relationships with police, local authorities and community partners
✔️ Gather evidence, prepare legal documentation and attend court proceedings where required
✔️ Provide advice and support to customers and colleagues on enforcement matters
✔️ Promote positive neighbour relationships and sustainable tenancies
What We're Looking For:
✅ Experience within social housing or a related field, ideally dealing with anti-social behaviour cases
✅ Experience managing challenging situations and conflict resolution
✅ Knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and housing management practices
✅ Understanding of anti-social behaviour, harassment, domestic abuse and hate incident legislation
✅ Experience of court procedures and legal casework
✅ Strong customer service and communication skills
✅ Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
