Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored learning support for a Level 2 Certificate in Work-based Animal and Welfare.
  • Assist the student with physical disabilities, MELAS syndrome, learning difficulties, and motor coordination challenges.
  • Ensure the student has a productive learning experience through clear guidance and support on the coursework provided by the college.
  • Foster a passion for animals, while helping the student succeed in their studies.


Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs), particularly with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and coordination challenges.
  • A passion for animals and an understanding of the subject matter.
  • Valid Child and Adult DBS due to the student being over 18.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide effective one-to-one support.
