Analytics Engineer (Manufacturing/ESG) Location: Cardiff (hybrid) Compensation: £45,000 - £50,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role Our client, a midsize manufacturing business, is looking for an Analytics Engineer to support their central Data Team in the delivery of trusted data products for the organisation''s sustainability and ESG reporting. You''ll sit between the environmental/compliance function and the technical data team, building the data infrastructure and reporting that underpins their climate and sustainability targets. Responsibilities Design, build and maintain analytical data models, including fact and dimension tables, to support trusted reporting and analytics Develop, optimise and maintain data pipelines, transformations and queries Own data quality across analytical layers, ensuring consistency, integrity, traceability and documentation Support integration of data from operational source systems into analytical environments Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports delivering clear, actionable insights Translate business questions into well-defined analytical metrics, measures and visualisations Act as a bridge between technical data teams and business users, for both project work and BAU Requirements Proven experience in analytics engineering or a similar role at the intersection of data engineering and analytics Experience designing and maintaining analytical data models, including fact and dimension tables Hands-on experience ..... full job details .....
