Analytics Engineer

Overview

Analytics Engineer at ClearScore. You will transform data into valuable insights that enhance user experiences and empower our analyst community using a cutting-edge tech stack, including dbt and Databricks.Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams across the business to design and build data products that support millions of users in making empowered financial decisionsEmpower analysts and business users to get the most from our dataWork within an engineering team to build high-quality, reliable data pipelinesExplore how data is used to impact the business and users and take a creative approach to solving problemsAutomate day-to-day processes and communicate datasets and capabilities to less technical users, enabling self-serve insights and toolsQualifications

Strong SQL skills for preparing and transforming large datasets1–2 years of experience working with data in a business contextExperience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Databricks)Ability to optimise queries and pipelines for efficiency and reliabilityBonus: experience with DBT, data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)Creative problem-solver with experience automating processes or data pipelinesStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholdersClear and effective documentation that considers its audienceWhy ClearScore
