      <description>Location: Widnes | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Analytical Chemist to join a rapidly growing technology business operating within the clean energy, water treatment and advanced materials sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative projects supporting emerging technologies within the electric vehicle battery and sustainable resource industries.  This position would suit a hands-on analytical chemist with experience operating ICP instrumentation and a passion for delivering high-quality analytical data in a fast-moving R&amp;D and commercial environment.-  The Role    Operate, maintain and troubleshoot ICP-OES analytical equipment.   Prepare samples and carry out elemental analysis across a variety of matrices.   Develop, improve and validate analytical methods.   Generate calibration standards and perform routine quality checks.   Analyse and interpret data before presenting results to internal stakeholders.   Support continuous improvement and development of laboratory procedures.   Work closely with engineers, scientists and external partners on innovative technology projects.
