Analytical Applications Chemist - 12 month contract

Are you an analytical technican / chemist / analyst and would like to use your skills to validate product performance claims of household cleaning chemicals? Are you familiar with chromatography, in particular HPLC? Have you worked within a testing lab, food manufacturing or perhaps the wider chemicals industry? Then have a read below A manufacturer of household cleaning chemicals has recently invested in new chromatography equipment but due to unforeseen circumstances they need the support of a chromatography analyst for a 12 month period, helping develop and validate methods which will ultimately support RandD within innovation and product performance claims for their products. What you will need: Several years experience using and developing analytical methods in particular HPLC and ideally GC and FT-IR A BSc or similar in Chemistry or a closely related subject Experience in an environment that moves quickly such as a testing lab or chemical manufacturer Excellent communication skills, allowing you to liaise with external vendors and 3rd party testing labs, as well as various internal heads of department from RandD, quality and commercial.
