A payments/FX business is looking for a
hands-on Financial Crime Analyst
to join on a
6-month FTC . This sits in the
2nd line of defence , so experience here is essential. You’ll be reviewing escalations from 1st line, mainly
adverse media
and
PEP alerts , assessing the risk and escalating further where needed.Base pay range

Take ownership of 2nd line Financial Crime reviews, focusing on adverse media and PEP escalations.Review escalations from 1st line, assess risk, and escalate where appropriate.Contribute to threat/risk assessments within a payments/FX environment.Support training and onboarding during the initial 6 weeks in the London office, followed by a 3 days in the office / 2 days WFH pattern.Possibly convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.Qualifications / Experience
Proven background in
2LOD financial crime , with strong experience reviewing
adverse media
and
PEP
escalations.FX/payments industry background is highly desirable.Job details
