A vital role in meeting our Local Authority responsibilities under the Mental Health Act. Key Responsibilities:Undertake statutory AMHP duties under the Mental Health Act 1983Complete assessments and coordinate interventions for individuals experiencing mental health crisesWork collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and partner agenciesEnsure legal and ethical compliance in all decision-making and documentationWork with the AMHP service setting up assessments, attending court for warrants and carrying out mental health act assessments in the hospital and in the community.Requirements:Qualified SWE Social WorkerRegistered AMHPProven experience in mental health services, ideally within a local authority settingStrong understanding of the Mental Health Act and related legislationExcellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skillsWhat We Offer:Flexible working arrangementsSupportive team environmentOpportunity to contribute to innovative mental health practices in ..... full job details .....
