ALUMNI COMMS AND DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR 
We are seeking a talented and motivated communications and digital marketing professional to join a leading London university on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful engagement initiatives, manage dynamic digital campaigns, and play a key role in strengthening connections with the university’s global community.

ALUMNI COMMS AND DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR ROLE:

  • Delivering engaging email campaigns, including newsletters and targeted communications, ensuring content aligns with brand tone and guidelines
  • Coordinating a cross-team email schedule and providing proofreading, editing, and style advice to colleagues
  • Maintaining and updating alumni web pages, ensuring content is accurate, attractive, and user-friendly
  • Managing alumni social media channels with creative content, schedules, and campaigns to drive engagement
  • Acting as community manager for the alumni platform (Imperial Plexus), creating content, supporting users, and liaising with the platform provider
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Advancement to promote alumni giving and engagement initiatives
  • Liaising with freelance writers, creative agencies, and suppliers on specific projects
  • Managing alumni merchandise stock and logistics for events and activities
  • Supporting the delivery of alumni volunteering, events, and other engagement programmes (some evening work required)
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations in all communications
ALUMNI COMMS AND DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR ESSENTIALS:  
 
  • Having 18 months of experience in a digital marketing or communications role
  • Bringing experience within higher education is highly preferred
