Working within a precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for producing high quality TIG welds on a variety of aluminium and stainless steel components used in specialist scientific systems. Responsibilities TIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel components Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications Fabricating and assembling precision metalwork to a high standard Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality requirements are met Supporting manufacturing and assembly activities as required Maintaining a safe and organised working environment Collaborating with engineers, machinists and production staff Requirements Proven TIG welding experience with aluminium and stainless steel Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience welding thin gauge materials Fabrication and sheet metal experience ..... full job details .....
