Working 07:00 - 15:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 12:00 Friday paying £19.22 per hour plus overtime. What You Will Do: - Weld aluminium using MIG techniques in line with established procedures and engineering drawing demonstrating Multi-Run Fillet Welds- Utilise jigs and fixtures to manufacture components, ensuring compliance with high-quality standards.- Conduct visual and non-destructive inspections to ensure fabricated components meet specifications.- Perform regular European qualification tests to maintain welder approval certifications.- Use hand tools and precise measuring instruments to complete tasks efficiently.- Log hours and activities using a Materials Requirements Planning system (SAP). What You Will Bring: - Recognised Time Served Apprenticeship in Welding or a relevant discipline.- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a related field.- Welding operator qualifications to ISO 14732 and ISO 9606 parts 1 and 2.- Practical experience in a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment.- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. ..... full job details .....
