Global Services sits as a key business pillar within State Street focused on client relationship, client growth and development. The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS gives asset owners and managers access to essential financial tools to deliver investment solutions.
What you will be responsible forAs Alpha Solutions Deal Lead you will:
The Vice President (VP) Deal Lead has responsibilities for a deal from inception (RFP receipt or start of due diligence) through to contract signing or conversion; may support multiple engagements and manage time to meet deadlines.
Lead a team of Deal Analysts to guide smaller deals end-to-end, providing strategic direction.
Collaborate with Sector sales to develop strategy for investment operations prospects and identify cross-sell opportunities; prepare client proposals and presentations for meetings.
Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned projects/products to research unclear facets and present a concise current-state view.
Lead/attend client meetings during the service definition/due diligence phase to agree requirements, scope, and plans; support Project Lead and PMO.
Develop knowledge of State Street products and non-proprietary products to recommend options.
Develop multiple solutions to issues for middle office clients; facilitate brainstorming with team members.
Assist in documentation and mapping of operating models, SLAs, and transition plans; support life cycle from implementation to BAU.
Communicate status of work with the team and re-allocate work as needed.

Experience in change management or system-to-system data conversion
Understanding of data mapping between investment systems (advantage)
Experience in managing and operating within a client environment
Education and Preferred Qualifications
Degree in finance, business, technology or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience in asset management, including investment operations and/or client-facing roles
Professional body membership preferred (e.g., CISI, ACA, CIMA, CFA)
PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
MS-Project scheduling and MS Visio
Visual Basic / advanced Excel / Access skills advantageous
